Grumpy Gremblings

Everyday is not Friday! There is always a time when being “bubbly” is simply a phrase. This week’s entry on temper on the scale of 1-10 would definitely be one of the few things below…

  • The internet broadband server is so slow that it takes zen years to upload a presentation for a report due tomorrow and a message suddenly appears that says “Connection timed out”!

  • When you spend three days planning a reunion (trust me, don’t ever try that sort of thing, especially when its after 15yrs and everyone else is on planet Zenus) and than everyone has something else to do, and finally when you have decided to go solo with your visiting 15yrs old friend, everyone wants to join in at the last moment but on a different day!

  • When everyone has problems and you are great counselor, so when you open your mouth to utter “one of your problems, even if its just a tiny one” someone pats you on your back and looks at you as if it’s a phase you will get over because it’s you!

  • When someone sends a religious forward that threatens to do something bad to you if you don’t forward it to 13 other people, and when each of these people on the chain mail keeps forwarding it “to all”…so you end up getting an inbox filled with the same mail. And you are supposed to ignore it. Or else, everyone on the list would get offended ( I tried replying it by telling everyone on the list that I might tear my hair out if anyone else sends it to me again, and someone actually sent me a website to check out new hairdos… so don’t try replying to such stuff when you are busy. Just delete the nuisance)

  • When you have finished a report due after a lot of hard work and dedication and your boss decides it’s not needed anymore.

  • And finally, when it’s Christmas day and you have to appear for a final case presentation and a quiz followed by a guest lecture to be given by an egalitarian professor on that same day!!!!

Argggh!!!!!!!!
